A system of controllable & programmable on road LED markers facilitate dynamic use of the road.

On Road LED markers are installed on-road in between lanes and often road edge. Generically the markers function as guidance lighting and provide high contrast delineation to warn drivers of lanes, road limits, and shoulders. The system can reverse a lanes direction at peak times (or when desired) by turning only specific markers on or off, or changing their colour. The system can also transmit data that induces the switch for the counter flow, including sending messages to electronic roadway signs to alert motorists of the lane operation.
